We realize that most of you have come here to see or because of the DFH 120 Chug. When we first made the video we never thought that it would bring in the traffic it has. We did it as a joke to poke fun at the “extreme beer” jagoffs that thought they were all “metal” and “badass” because they could chug a high alcohol craft beer. Really, we do respect beer. However, we don’t respect idiots and bad beer. If for any minute you take the chug seriously and get offended, get off the internet and remove yourself from society.

So why do DFH120? As far as we know, no one had ever attempted this on record. DFH120 is considered in some circles as the nectar of gods. It’s ABV (alcohol by volume) is 20%. To put it into perspective your Miller, Coors and Bud products are roughly 4-5% ABV. That would mean it would take 5 of your beers to equal the kick of one DFH120. This is not meant for the weak of heart and for the most part is safe for viewing work, at home or with the Pope.

A wise old hobo once said “Never waste beer. it’s like free sex with a toothless hooker.” so here at SIDT we’ve adopted that as our motto. OK, minus the hooker part. “Never Waste Beer!” To follow this practice we have instituted a rule since EP1, if you don’t like it… chug it. Yeah not very catchy eh but it does make our point until someone in our marketing comes up with a new slogan (should probably pay them). We wanted to give something back to you, our fans, and involve you in the show.

This started on The Beer Report Forum where sickpuppy was nominated to chug a 7 yr old can of Brahma beer. The Chugging Challenge was born. On various shows we’ve asked fans to vote on who should chug a predetermined beverage of our choice. We do take suggestions so contact us and let us know if you have something for us to try. We do also accept gifts if you’d like to send us a present. Give us the story behind it and why you still have it.

Chugging Challenge FAQ
Why?
It’s entertainment value alone makes it worth it for us. We appreciate good beer but also there comes a time when you want do something off the wall. This would be it for us.

What won’t you drink?
If there’s mold or an element that obviously poses a health risk (well besides chugging beer) we won’t attempt it. Just because we chug doesn’t mean we’re stupid.

What will you drink?
It must be an established alcoholic beer beverage. Home brews are fine but the moonshine from your Grandma Gerty’s tub isn’t. We won’t chug hard alcohol. That’s just stupid. Kill yourself for even thinking it.

How can I make a suggestion and/or ship you something that’s been in my attic for 15 years?
Our user friendly web form is the best way to contact us. If you send us something include your website, podcast or whatever you want us to pimp. Shirts (XXL) and hats are welcomed also
